ARTIFACTS - "Things" from Japanese Internment Camps will be the second application for iPad by Hiroshi Watanabe who was born in Japan and has been living in the US for many years.

He photographed “things” that people made and used in the internment camps during the World War II. He saw the history and emotions of the Japanese Americans in these artifacts.

•Ayako Mie, a staff writer for the Japan Times, wrote an essay on the subject.

About Hiroshi Watanabe

His work has been published and exhibited around the world, and his work is in the permanent collections of six art museums in the United States.
